Solange Quintana

Solange is pursuing a Master of Science in Marketing at the University of Arizona and serves as Director of Communications and Marketing for the Graduate and Professional Student Council. In this role, she leads strategy across communications, events, and student engagement. Beyond GPSC, Solange is an entrepreneur and CEO, with ventures spanning manufacturing, wellness, and design, focused on innovation, community impact, and building meaningful connections between ideas and people. She values clarity, results, and collaboration, believing that “discipline is the highest form of freedom.”

Roselyn Amamoo

Funding Director

Roselyn is a doctoral student in the Health and Pharmaceutical Outcomes Program and serves as the Grants and Funding Director for GPSC. In this role, she manages the administration of GPSC grants, ensuring processes are streamlined and effective. She oversees student communications, provides guidance on grants-related inquiries, and is dedicated to helping students overcome financial barriers to their academic and professional growth.

Elections Director: 

Sabina Iturralde

Sabina Iturralde is a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Psychology at the University of Arizona, where she also holds graduate certifications in Educational Research Methodology and Motivational Learning Environments. She is currently completing a graduate certificate in College Teaching and pursuing a Multidisciplinary Doctoral Minor with an emphasis in Disability Studies. Her research focuses on understanding how college and career readiness programs support access, career decision-making, and persistence among underrepresented high school and undergraduate students pursuing STEM fields in higher education. She is particularly committed to equity-centered educational practices and the role of mentorship in shaping student pathways such as access to funding resources.

Policy & Institute Director: 
Elham Chelabi
 
Elham Chelabi is a doctoral candidate from Algeria completing a PhD in Higher Education. Her research focuses on international higher education, with particular attention to internationalization activities including partnerships, international student experiences, and the intersection of forced migration and higher education. She currently serves as Policy and Institute Director for the Graduate and Professional Student Council (GPSC) and is always happy to connect with students.
