Meal options on what to do if you can’t afford to eat.

The University of Arizona offers multiple meals plans for students depending on your needs. All meal plans are tax-free and many include a discount, making eating on campus 10% less than buying meals one at a time.

Nutritional Information is available for much of the food available at the Arizona Student Unions.

Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan options are available through the Arizona Student Unions.

Many students experience food insecurity, which means they skip meals because they cannot afford enough food. It’s hard to do well in school if you’re hungry, so there are resources to help.
UA Campus Pantry is THE food bank for UA students, staff and faculty. All you need is your CatCard

These are additional assistant programs.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) used to be called Food Stamps, now is easier to use with a debit card at grocery stores. Application is online, takes approximately 1 hour, you will need some personal documents to verify your identity, income and expenses.

Women, Infants, and Children is a program for pregnant women, infants and children under the age of 5. You receive vouchers for food items that can be redeemed at the grocery store. You can also receive assistance with breastfeeding, including consultations and breast pumps. There are multiple offices located in Tucson to apply and receive benefits
